I am currently reading Dear John. I'm not too far into the book yet, since classes have started and I have been bringing my textbooks to Rockwells to get my reading done while I have downtime hosting when the lunch or dinner rushes are over.
I like the book so far. This is probably my first Nicholas Spark book I've actually read, unless I'm forgetting some book I read back in middle school. I think it's a good story so far. John has met Savannah and he has been teaching her to surf, and she has taken him to church. I like that John, the reformed rebel, is telling her the truth about himself, even though it may not put him in the right light.
I hope to finish the book before the movie comes out because I want to go see it with Liz when it does.
Well, lets see how the book continues...

So far...
So far this year I have read a few books.
Currently I am reading Dear John by Nicholas Spark. I last read Sunday's At Tiffany's by James Patterson. These are the only new books I have read since the beginning of the new year.
I have also re-read quite a few books over break, while deciding on buying an e-reader, what books to buy next, and before I got back to school.
Sunday's At Tiffany's is about two characters, Jane and Michael. Michael was Jane's imaginary friends until she turned 9 and he could no longer be hers. When Jane is 31, and not exactly loving her life, she sees Michael again. Michael saw Jane first, and then he followed her around before she finally saw him and went to see if it was really Michael. I'm not going to give away the ending, but it is a quick read, and might not make you cry.
